The vintage cork needle is thinner than our standard needle and is designed for the older vintage bottles in your collection that may have a fragile cork. The thinner needle will be gentler on the cork resulting in a slightly slower pour than the standard needle, but patience has its rewards! All Coravin wine access needles are stainless steel and non-stick coated, providing durability and easy insertion over hundreds of pours.
Minimizes disruption to the cork, effectively allowing the cork to reseal completely after the needle is removed. Coravin's Wine Needle design was inspired by non-coring biopsy needles, which are delicate enough to be used during surgical procedures.
Allows for quick removal and replacement with a different needle as required.
